I pour a lot of care into making each Headspace Haven piece, and with a little love from you, they'll stay looking their best for a long time. Here's what you need to know about your new stuff and how to keep it shining.
Earring Wires
All of my standard earring hooks are nickel-free to keep your ears happy. If you have extra sensitive skin, I also offer .925 Sterling Silver for a small upgrade or Plastic Hooks options on all earrings. Just pick your preference when you order!
How to Care for Your Goodies
Each material has its own way of staying awesome:
- Acrylic: These pieces love a good home in a soft pouch or jewelry box to prevent scratches. I like to keep mine hanging from an earring display rack since they're works of art if I do say so myself. Try to keep them away from harsh chemicals.
- Wood: Your wooden pieces prefer to stay dry. If they need a little clean, just wipe gently with a dry cloth. You can even buff a tiny bit of mineral oil into them to keep that natural shine.
- Steel (like some bottle openers): Steel pieces can get a cool, brownish patina over time which looks pretty cool, but if you want to keep them shiny, Barkeepers Friend is your secret weapon! Gently rub the exposed steel with a scrubby pad or a bit of Barkeepers Friend to buff away any marks.
- Sterling Silver & Stainless Steel Wires: A quick, light polish with a soft cloth will keep these wires gleaming.
